Salvation Is Of The Lord 2

John 1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Salvation, becoming a child of God requires the power of God. Mortal men do not have the power of God.

Hebrews 4:7: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

Our day of salvation is chosen by God, not by mortal men.

Colossians 1:27: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Jesus abides within those He saves. Mortal men cannot live with other mortal men.

Ephesians 1:6: To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

God makes the saved acceptable to Himself. Mortal men cannot do that.

Romans 8:30: Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

God personally chose those who would be saved, called them to salvation, justified them and glorified them. Mortal men cannot do those things.

Ephesians 4:30: And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

The Holy Spirit seals the saved. Mortal men cannot and do not do that.

1 Corinthians 12:13: For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

The Holy Spirit Himself baptizes believers into the Body of Christ. Mortal men cannot do that. To be continued.
